ZLP Elects New National Leadership Four Years

….Reaffirms commitment to principles of equality, equity, transparency

The Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) during its 2025 National Convention has elected it’s Executives that will steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.

This was contained in a press statement by the National Publicity Secretary of the ZLP, Amb Khalid Arewa and made available to Journalists in Bauchi.

The Spokesperson reaffirmed the commitment of the party to the principles of equality, equity, and transparency, urging all Nigerians to join its fold in pursuit of a better future for a great nation.

He stated that the convention, which brought together party members from across the country, marked a significant milestone in the party’s journey, adding that”The Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of its 2025 National Convention, held on February 6, 2025.”

According to him, the newly elected Executive members include: National Chairman: Hon. Chief Barr. Dan Nwanyanwu; National Secretary: Hon. Yahaya Makama; National Vice Chairman North Central: Alh. Usman Danjuma; National Legal Adviser: Barr. ThankGod Enohoro LLM; National Publicity Secretary: Amb. Khalid Arewa; National Women Leader: Mrs Chinyare Oge-Kalu and National Youth Leader: Comr. Lucky Okurabore.

Other Executive members were also elected from the Six geo-political zones in the country, ensuring a balanced representation of diverse interests and perspectives.

Key highlights of the Convention included review and amendment of the party’s Constitution to prioritize transparency, accountability, and good governance, introduction of measures to promote inclusivity, providing opportunities for all Nigerians to participate in the party’s activities and decision-making processes as well as election of new Executive members.
