Zita Unseats Koyin To Emerge New Head Of House

Zita has dethroned Koyin to become the new Head of House in Big Brother Naija Season 10, just a day after he claimed the title in Week Eight.

The Monday HOH showdown saw Faith, Thelma Lawson, Bright Morgan, Zita, and Kola battle it out—the same housemates who reached the final stage on Sunday.

In a tense finish, Zita emerged on top, claiming the crown and ending Koyin’s short-lived reign.

For her HOH privileges, Zita invited Kola to share the lounge, marking her second time unseating an interim HOH. She had previously overpowered Doris in Week Four, with Rooboy as her guest back then—demonstrating her strategic approach to forming alliances.

Koyin, who had outperformed Faith, Bright Morgan, Kola, Thelma Lawson, and Zita in a two-part challenge to become Week Eight HOH, had selected Jason Jae as his lounge partner. His reign, however, was abruptly cut short by Zita’s victory.

Earlier, Koyin revealed the week’s theme: “Flying Solo.”

Housemates are to focus on self-discovery while pairing up to create cultural presentations on selected Nigerian states. The quality of their work will determine the food supply for the coming week.

Meanwhile, Faith was named Most Influential Player, earning automatic immunity for the week.
