GUSAU – A member of the House of Representatives representing Maru/ Bungudu federal constituency in Zamfara State, Hon. Abdul-Malik Zubairu, has flagged off the distribution of N1.5billion financial grant to small and medium businessmen and women.
At an event at the weekend in Bungudu town, the headquarters of Bungudu local government area, the lawmaker reiterated his determination to give necessary financial support to boost business activities in the state.
He debunked claims of the state government that the event was a political gathering, saying, “Our gathering was to give out financial grant to small and medium business men and women in the state.”
Zubairu urged the beneficiaries of the grant to make best use of it to improve their businesses.
Also, speaking, State APC, Tukur Danfulani, lauded the effort of the lawmaker in providing financial support to the people in state, as well as providing infrastructure to the constituents.
He appealed to other political office holders to initiate developmental projects to the electorate.
