DAMATURU – In a seamless transition of leadership, the Yobe State Road Traffic Management Agency (YOROTA) has successfully conducted the official handover ceremony for outgoing and incoming Zonal and Unit Commanders. The event took place during the Agency’s weekly staff polling exercise on Monday, 24th February 2025.
Under the leadership of General Manager and Corps Commandant, Babagana Alhaji Modu (Bature Goniri), YOROTA has demonstrated its commitment to operational excellence and professionalism. The handover process was closely supervised by the outgoing and incoming Zonal and Unit Commanders, ensuring a smooth transition of leadership responsibilities.
In his address, General Manager Babagana Alhaji Modu expressed his gratitude to the outgoing officers and charged the incoming officers to remain dedicated to their duties. He also appreciated the people of Yobe State for their support and cooperation with YOROTA’s initiatives.
YOROTA continues to prioritize road safety awareness, traffic law enforcement, and efficient road traffic management in Yobe State.
The Agency remains committed to reducing road accidents, ensuring compliance with traffic regulations, and fostering a culture of safety among all road users.
