Yobe: Four feared dead, others injured in fatal road crash

Four persons are feared dead and seven others injured in a road crash along the Damaturu-Maiduguri highway.

The accident occurred in the early hours of Saturday.

It was gathered that the 18-seater bus belonging to Borno Express was en route to Maiduguri from Abuja.

First-line emergency responders who made it to the scene have evacuated the corpses as well as the injured victims to the State Specialist Hospital, Damaturu.

Recall that last Tuesday, DAILY POST had reported that ten people were confirmed dead in a fatal road accident involving a cement truck along the Damaturu-Maiduguri road in Yobe State.

The accident occurred when the truck, loaded with cement and passengers, lost control and tumbled into a ditch.
