She said the group is committed to fostering unity, peace, and development in Ala Igbo.

According to Eziada Nwadike, Ogbako Umunwanyi Igbo Worldwide Foundation is a global movement that seeks to unite Igbo women worldwide, promoting a sense of belonging, pride, and identity.

She added that the organization’s primary objective is to harness the collective strength and potential of Igbo women to drive positive change and transformation in their homeland.

“We believe that the empowerment and unity of Igbo women are essential to the development and progress of Ala Igbo.

“By creating a platform for women to come together, share ideas, and leverage their collective resources, we aim to promote a culture of collaboration, mutual support, and collective action”,Eziada Nwadike emphasized.

She further disclosure other activities and programs of the organization, highlighting several key objectives, including unity and empowerment, peace and development, cultural preservation, and economic empowerment.

The organization’s main objective, according to her, is supporting and caring for vulnerable children, motherless babies, vulnerable women, and widows.

To achieve this objective, Eziada Nwadike said OUIWF has initiated several programs and projects, stating, “currently, a food giveaway program is underway in America and Nigeria, providing essential sustenance to vulnerable families. The organization’s “Mother Christmas” events and “Valentine’s Splash” programs bring joy and entertainment to vulnerable children and those living in orphanage homes.”

“OUIWF’s empowerment program, codenamed, “She Needs a Trade,” provides N100,000 interest-free loans to widows, enabling them to strengthen their businesses. This initiative has already made a significant impact, empowering many widows to become financially independent.

“In its most ambitious project to date, Ogbako Umunwanyi Igbo Worldwide Foundation is currently canvassing for funds and donations to build a motherless babies’ home in Alaigbo.

“This facility will provide a safe and nurturing environment for approximately 100 motherless babies and vulnerable children between the ages of 0-18”, she explained.

Eziada Nwadike appealed to kind-hearted individuals to support this worthy cause, emphasizing the urgent need for assistance.

“We cannot ignore the plight of vulnerable women who are forced to sell their children to feed others, or those who abandon their newborn babies on the streets. We must come together to provide a safe haven for these innocent children.
