A former teachers aide accused of having sx with a teenager was formally charged Monday, Nov. 10, with multiple child sx crimes. Fond du Lac County Court set a cash bond of $200,000 for Stephanie Jensen on Friday, Nov. 7. On Monday, the criminal complaint was filed, detailing her charges. Jensen is accused of having sx with a teenage boy on multiple occasions, starting at the age of 15 until he was 17. According to the criminal complaint, the boy told authorities Jensen had been flirty with him since he was 12 years old. The teenager, identified as Victim 1 in the complaint, said he and Jensen had exchanged nude photos using Snapchat multiple times, beginning when he was 16. Jensen is also accused of sending nude photos to his friends. According to the complaint, the victim said he believed Jensen knew his age, because she was teaching in a second-grade classroom at his school when he was in eighth grade, and they had seen each other at the school during that time. The victim also stated he had sxual intercourse with Jensen a couple of times. In the complaint, he stated the earliest time they had sxual intercourse was in September 2024, prior to his 16th birthday. The complaint said Victim 1 knew that because it happened before he got his drivers license. The criminal complaint said when a detective spoke with Jensen, she denied having sx with the victim, but did admit to sending sxually explicit photos and videos. The complaint states the detective then told Jensen she was under arrest, and she responded by saying I am not under arrest and would not stand up from the couch. The detective had to lift Jensen off the couch by her arm, the complaint said. The complaint also stated that Jensen tried to pull away when placed in handcuffs but stopped when ordered to do so. Jensen appeared in court on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 9 a.m. The court ordered her to have no contact with the victim, other minors, and not to use social media. Jensen is charged with Possession of Child P0rnography, multiple counts of Child Enticement and Exposing Intimate Parts to a Child, and 2nd Degree Sxual Ass@ult of Child. She faces a potential sentence of decades behind bars if convicted. Faith Lutheran School in Fond du Lac issued a public statement on Monday, saying: “Faith Lutheran School has terminated the employment of Stephanie Jensen upon formal charges being filed in court on Monday. The faculty, staff, and administration at Faith are committed to the safety and care of our students, staff, families, and community.
