Liverpool legend Kenny Dalglish has warned that it will be too early to start criticising summer signing Florian Wirtz’s poor start to the Premier League.
Wirtz is yet to score or assist for Liverpool across eight appearances in the Premier League and Champions League, inviting scrutiny following what was at the time a British record transfer worth up to £116 million ($156.3 million) from Bayer Leverkusen.
However, in a chat with Stick To Football podcast, Dalglish believes Florian Wirtz must forge a partnership with Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike to thrive at Liverpool.
