AC Milan loanee, Joao Felix has explained his decision to join the Serie A club from Chelsea.
Felix left the Blues during the January transfer window to join Milan on loan for the remainder of the season.
The Portugal international had struggled to find regular playing time at Chelsea under boss Enzo Maresca.
Speaking on why he picked AC Milan ahead of other clubs interested in signing him, Felix said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano:
“I didn’t ask AC Milan to play every game, just to play in my position… and Sérgio Conceição wanted exactly to put me in my best position”.
“That was crucial for me to pick AC Milan”.
Meanwhile, AC Milan Senior Advisor, Zlatan Ibrahimovic had claimed that it took just five minutes to get Felix’s transfer deal done.
