The spokesperson of the FCT police command, SP Josephine Adeh, has taken to social media to ask why some men are bent on stopping their partners from maintaining friendships.

In a post shared on X, Adeh said a fighting couple recently visited her office and that the bane of their disagreement was the man being against his wife having any friends.

 Adeh in her post wondered why men prevent their wives from having friends. She went on to insinuate that such stance can be traced to their lack of trust, insecurity or fear of external influence.
