Fubara had his early education at Opobo Primary School in his hometown before continuing to Comprehensive Secondary School in Opobo. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Rivers State University of Science and Technology (now Rivers State University).
He continued his studies by receiving an MBA from the University of Port Harcourt and then an MSc in Finance from the same institution, demonstrating his dedication to academic achievement in finance and business administration.
Career
Siminalayi Fubara’s career has been heavily involved in public service and politics in Rivers State, Nigeria. He began his teaching career with the Rivers State Post-Primary Schools Board in 2003, starting at Comprehensive High School in Alesa-Eleme.
Fubara entered the financial industry as a Senior Accountant in the Ministry of Finance in 2007, quickly rising through the ranks to Principal Accountant, Chief Accountant, and, finally, Director of Finance and Accounts at the State Government House by 2015.
