Sen. Garba Maidoki who represents Kebbi South Senatorial District says that the government has a fair idea where the 24 students of the Government Girls Comprehensive Secondary School, Maga, Kebbi state kidnapped by bandits in the early hours of Monday, November 19, are being held.
In a chat with Channels TV this evening, Maidoki said
‘’I must commend the activities of the Nigerian Armed forces. They are right now in the forest. Just today. I heard the report of about 7 soldiers that were shot by bandits in an efforts to rescue this girls.
We have a fair idea of where these girls are and we are sure they have not moved outside my constituency, Kebbi South. They have not crossed outside the Kebbi South Senatorial district, There is high hope that these girls will be returned in the next one or two days”
Twenty-five of the girls were abducted. One of them escaped from the k!dnappers den, making it 24 remaining with the abductors.
