Waterlight Save Initiative Extends Support To Homeless Veterans In Atlanta

Waterlight Save Initiative recently carried out a successful outreach program in Atlanta, Georgia, aimed at feeding and supporting homeless veterans. 

This initiative is part of the organization’s ongoing commitment to alleviating poverty, improving quality of life, and fostering social change.

Dr. Ero Ibhafidon, President and Founder of Waterlight Save Initiative, emphasized the difficulties many veterans face after their service, including homelessness, unemployment, and limited access to healthcare. 

He outlined the organization’s key focus areas in addressing these challenges.

He added that organization is focused on providing safe housing for veterans with stable and secure shelter. 

“Healthcare Access which includes offering medical support for physical and mental health conditions, including PTSD and substance abuse recovery.

“Connecting veterans with job opportunities, skills development, and entrepreneurship programs through economic empowerment as well as collaborating with government agencies and stakeholders to push for long-term solutions.”

The event provided essential services such as food, clothing, medical care, and housing assistance to those in need. 

It was made possible through the unwavering support of volunteers, sponsors, and community partners.

Notably, Bill Hughes, Head of Veteran Affairs, attended alongside his team, commending the initiative for its dedication to supporting former service members.

Waterlight Save Initiative expressed deep gratitude to all contributors and reaffirmed its commitment to standing by the nation’s veterans, ensuring they receive the care and opportunities they deserve.
