The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Wale Edun, on Sunday, held a meeting with a Qatari business delegation. 

The meeting, which was held at Fraser Suites in Abuja. 

Edun was accompanied by Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, the Minister for Industry, Trade, and Investment, and the meeting was said to have lasted about an hour. 

There are still no details of the meeting. 

Reports from TVC News and Nigerian Eye confirmed his attendance, noting it as a sign of his recovery. This aligns with ongoing Nigeria-Qatar investment discussions, including earlier bilateral engagements in 2024.

The Minister’s appearance finally lays to rest the report that he was sick and had been flown to London for proper medical care.
