Nigerian rapper Jeriq will perform at the Tiger Street Football Tournament in Awka, with award-winning actor Uzor Arukwe set to host the live “Uncaged Experience” on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at New Berries Lounge, Awka.

The tournament is positioned as a fusion of football and performance culture, with music from Wanni x Handi, DJ Snow, DJ Skyblisz and DJ Kay.y and hypeman energy led by Twix Da JIMs and Slymshady.

The Awka leg of the Tiger Street Football Tournament opened with public trials on October 12, drawing dozens of non-professional players.

The Round of 16 and quarterfinals were played on October 18 and 19 at COD Arena, where four teams – Sunday Sparks, Peace Warriors, Peace Dominion and Peace Ambassadors – have now advanced to the semifinals.

At the quarterfinals, Sunday Sparks continued to dominate the tournament with a 3–0 victory over Young Stars. While Peace Warriors edged Star Boys by 2–1 in a tense contest.

On the other hand, Peace Dominion narrowly defeated Super Strikers 1–0, while Peace Ambassadors overcame Mgbakwu Pillars 2–1 to complete the semi-final lineup.

The semifinals scheduled for Saturday, October 25, will have Sunday Sparks face Peace Warriors and Peace Dominion take on Peace Ambassadors.

The winners will advance to the grand finale later that same day at the highly anticipated Tiger Uncaged celebration.

With ₦5 million reserved for the winning team, ₦3 million for second place, and ₦1 million each for third and fourth place, the stakes are pushing the teams to fight till the last whistle blows.
