A key stakeholder in Katsina state, Dr. Ibrahim Kaita, has expressed his admiration for the outstanding performance of Governor Umar Radda since assuming office in 2023.
He stated this in an interview with newsmen Monday in Katsina.
He said Radda’s transformative agenda is a bold vision for infrastructure development. He added that the present state administration has unveiled a staggering N682.2 billion budget for the 2025 fiscal year, representing a 40% increase from the previous year.
Dr kaita said this significant investment is poised to accelerate development and improve the standard of living for all citizens.
“One of the key areas where Radda’s administration has made significant strides is in educational development. The governor has stated the importance of investing in educational institutions and ensuring that every child has access to quality education,” he said.
He noted that his commitment is evident in the various initiatives and projects aimed at enhancing the state’s educational infrastructure.
Dr kaitaalso added that: “Healthcare delivery is another critical area where Radda’s administration has demonstrated its dedication to the well-being of Katsina state citizens. The state has witnessed remarkable transformation in its healthcare sector, with significant improvement in healthcare infrastructure, personnel, and services.
“These efforts have undoubtedly enhanced the quality of life for residents and contributed to the state’s overall development,” he stated.
He added that social development is a key priority for Radda’s administration as the governor has launched the Katsina State Community Development Programme (KSCDP), an innovative initiative designed to empower communities and promote grassroots development through participatory governance.
