The University of Buckingham, United Kingdom has congratulated prominent alumna and Chairman of The Sun Publishing Limited, Barr. Neya Kalu on her emergence as Young Global Leader of the Year at the THISDAY Awards.
Barr. Kalu bagged a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Buckingham.
In a congratulatory message on Monday, the prestigious university recognised her 14 years of experience implementing business initiatives across various industries, including as Chairman of The Sun.
“Congratulations Neya from everyone at The University of Buckingham,” the message shared on LinkedIn reads in part.
Other prominent Nigerians awarded alongside Barr. Kalu in that category include seasoned engineer, Jennifer Adighije; Queen of Warri Kingdom, Olori Ivie Atuwatse III; frontline software engineer, Shola Akinlade and seasoned entrepreneur, Nnamdi Kalu; Chairman/Chief Executive of NASENI, Khalil Halilu; Founder of AA & R Investment Group, Abdullaji Bashir ‘Haske’; and Co-founder of Flutterwave, Olugbenga Agboola.
