Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has presented brand new Toyota Land Cruisers to all former deputy governors of the state as a gesture of gratitude for their years of service and contributions to the state’s development.
In a statement shared on Friday, Governor Eno lauded the former deputy governors for their dedication and sacrifices, which he said have significantly shaped Akwa Ibom’s progress.
The vehicles, described as a token of appreciation, are intended to ensure the comfort of these elder statesmen as they continue to offer their wisdom and guidance to the state.
“Their dedication has helped shape our State’s progress, and it’s only fitting they enjoy comfort as they continue to share their wisdom with us,” Eno stated. “Thank you for your service!”
The presentation has been widely praised as a thoughtful recognition of the former deputy governors’ enduring legacy in the state.
