The Kaduna state governor, Senator Uba Sani, Sunday extended warm felicitations to the deputy governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Muhammad Sani Abdullahi (Dattijo), on the occasion of his 46th birthday, describing him as a visionary economist and exemplary son of Kaduna state.
In a congratulatory message issued on behalf of the government and people of Kaduna state, Governor Sani praised Dattijo for his intellect, integrity, and commitment to transformative public service, noting that he has consistently demonstrated how sound, data-driven policies can improve lives and strengthen institutions.
The governor highlighted Dattijo’s remarkable contributions to Kaduna state during his tenure as Commissioner for Budget and Planning and later as chief of staff to the governor, where his foresight and analytical depth helped shape the state’s governance and development framework.
“Mallam Dattijo embodies the finest ideals of public service — intellect, integrity, and an abiding passion for transformative development,” Governor Sani said.
He further commended Dattijo’s ongoing service at the Central Bank of Nigeria, where he continues to play a key role in economic reforms aimed at stabilising the financial system and restoring confidence in the national economy.
The governor described him as “a loyal son of Kaduna, ever ready with wise counsel and unwavering support for the State’s progress.”
As Dattijo marks his 46th birthday, Governor Sani prayed for continued wisdom, strength, and grace for him to keep serving Nigeria with humility and distinction.
