Turkish Super Lig champions Galatasaray are reportedly on the verge of signing Super Eagles winger Ademola Lookman from Italian Serie A side Atalanta.

Sources close to the deal revealed that Lookman’s representatives have reached an understanding with the Turkish club, paving the way for a potential move during the January transfer window.

The 27-year-old Nigerian forward, who is under contract with Atalanta until 2027, is believed to be seeking a fresh challenge after two successful seasons in Italy.

If the transfer goes through, Lookman will team up with his international compatriot Victor Osimhen, who is also expected to complete his move to the Istanbul-based club in the same window.

Galatasaray are reportedly eager to bolster their attacking options as they look to extend their domestic dominance and make a strong impression in European competitions this season.
