Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, the regional chairman of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) in Barkin Ladi, Plateau State, has reacted to a disturbing revelation by the international hacktivist collective, Anonymous Group.
The group claimed that Dachomo has been targeted for assassination by Islamic terrorists and bandits within a week, allegedly due to his outspokenness about the killings of Christians in the region.

Known as one of the most vocal clergymen in Nigeria, Rev. Dachomo has consistently condemned what he describes as an ongoing genocide against Christians in Plateau State and other parts of the country.
Alleged Christian genocide
Despite official denials from the federal government, he has continued to release videos and evidence of mass killings and burials, insisting that silence would make him complicit in the atrocities.
His bold stance has, however, sparked fears for his safety. Supporters and human rights observers have expressed concern that his continued exposure of the violence could make him a target of extremists and those uncomfortable with his revelations. Some reports suggest that terrorists are displeased with him for drawing international attention to the crisis.
Rev. Dachomo has also been accused by certain groups of fueling foreign intervention, following reports that his advocacy contributed to U.S. President Donald Trump’s previous warning of military action and Nigeria’s classification as a “Country of Particular Concern” (CPC) due to religious persecution.
The Anonymous Group, in a post shared on its Facebook page on Friday, claimed that credible intelligence points to a planned attack on Dachomo’s life. The group urged global attention to his case, warning that any harm done to him would be seen as a direct assault on freedom of speech and the fight against injustice in Nigeria.
In the post, the Group wrote:
“Photos of Pastor Dachomo Bwede Ezekiel, a man of God, have been circulated among Islamic terrorists and bandits in the former country.
They have issued orders to assassinate him within the next seven days, believing he is responsible for Trump’s intervention.
“The militants are furious that their livelihoods and their very lives are now in jeopardy and are being masterminded by this man. The instructions are ‘Kill him and cut his head off’.
“Circulate this message and make sure it gets to the family and to Pastor Ezekiel. This is an emergency. Share and mention all your friends and relatives in these areas! This must not happen! This is another blood bath! People would be burnt and brutally slaughtered! This must not happen! Do everything within your power to make this plan a failure! Please we beg!!”
Rev. Dachomo Responds to Death Threats: “I Am Not Afraid to Die for the Truth”
Despite the alarming warning from the Anonymous Group about an alleged plot to assassinate him, Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo has declared that he remains undeterred and unafraid. The outspoken cleric said he is ready to face any consequence that may come from standing for truth and justice.
In a passionate video message posted on his official Facebook page, Rev. Dachomo stated that death holds no fear for him as long as he continues to speak out against evil and defend the truth. He emphasized that his mission is to serve God and humanity, not to please men, and that no threat would silence his voice.
“I have already sold my soul to Jesus Christ; to die is gain and to live to say the truth. I’m rejoicing, welcoming death in good call, but if the will of God says I will still survive, I will continue saying the truth. We love the Muslims, we’re caring for them,” he said.
