The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume, has called on Benue people to sustain their support for President Bola Tinubu.
He said such support is crucial to ensure the success of the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
Akume made the appeal on Saturday, while handing over renovated structures and a fully equipped ICT laboratory at his alma mater, LGEA Primary School Wannune, in Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State.

Recalling his childhood memories, Akume grew emotional, saying: “Today is a very great day for me, and very fulfilling too, as it sparks off some beautiful and well cherished memories of my life.
“My journey to stardom began here some many decades ago.”
The SGF explained that the school’s renovation and the ICT centre were his way of giving back to society.
He further urged the people to stand firmly behind President Tinubu, stressing: “I want to admonish you to continue to support my principal, President Bola Tinubu.
“He has initiated life-changing initiatives that he alone has the drive and capacity to implement for the betterment of all citizens.”
Highlighting federal projects, he said: “The Makurdi-Katsina Ala Road reconstruction, Badagary-Sokoto Highway, Makurdi-Otukpo-9th Mile Road, Lagos-Calabar Super Highway and Enugu-Onitsha Expressway are currently ongoing.
“More projects are set to kick-start soon to enhance economic growth across the country.”
The Education Secretary of Tarka LGA, Mr. Aondoakaa Kwaghbo, praised the gesture, stating that education remains the “bedrock for meaningful development.”
Similarly, the Ter Mbakor, HRH Gregory Gandeoron, lauded Akume, declaring: “My dearest son in whom I am well pleased, you have continued to be our source of pride.
“I pledge total support to President Tinubu in his quest to reform the country.”
