“Tinubu Never Complained About Problems He Inherited From Buhari As President” – Amina Mohammed

The United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, has said that President Bola Tinubu has never complained about the challenges he inherited from his predecessor.

She noted that since assuming office, the President has remained focused on addressing Nigeria’s problems rather than blaming past administrations.

Mohammed made this known on Sunday, during an award dinner at Nigeria House in New York, held to celebrate Nigeria’s 65th independence anniversary and the Independence Day Parade and Carnival.

The Nigerian-born UN deputy chief praised President Tinubu for his resilience and commitment to leadership, noting that he worked hard to earn his position as Nigeria’s leader.

“He fought hard to get to that seat, even though he said it was his turn. So far, Tinubu is the president of Nigeria, and it was God that put him there,” she said.

According to her, Tinubu has remained focused and avoided the blame game. “He also told us that he wasn’t going to complain about what he got.

“I have not heard him complain. People around him complain about what he inherited, but he doesn’t,” Mohammed stated.

She urged Nigerians to rally behind the President in his effort to move the country forward.

“It is, therefore, incumbent upon us to get behind him and do the best we can for Nigeria. Except you’re trying to tell me that God made a mistake,” she added.

Congratulating Nigerians on the country’s 65th independence anniversary, Mohammed encouraged unity and optimism, warning against self-criticism.

“If we get into the pull-down syndrome, then who else is going to pull us up? Nigerians are the hardest working, most ambitious, and proud people,” she said.
