President Bola Tinubu has felicitated with the Director of MacArthur Foundation for Africa, Dr Kole Shettima who turned 65.
He underscored Dr. Shettima’s role in the sustenance of Nigeria’s democracy and advancement of human rights, peace and justice.
The President sent his felicitations through a statement by his media aide, Bayo Onanuga on Wednesday, where he acknowledged Shettima’s role as a notable scholar and activist who has contributed immensely to nation-building.
Tinubu also underscored Dr. Shettima’s role in the sustenance of Nigeria’s democracy and advancement of human rights, peace and justice.
He acknowledged MacArthur Foundation’s assistance in mentoring new crop of non-state actors and supporting government and non-governmental organisations in addressing pressing developmental challenges.
The President also prayed for good health for Dr. Shettima as he continues to rededicate himself to the service of humanity.
