President Bola Tinubu will be declaring open the fifth edition of the Nigeria Police Force Conference and Retreat for Senior Police Officers in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The three-day event, scheduled for February 24-26, 2025, at the H3 Event Center, Abeokuta will bring together governors, security agencies, and senior police officers to discuss this year’s theme: “Improving Nigeria’s Internal Security and Economic Prosperity Through Inclusive Policing.”
According to the Chief Executive Officer of LENDERS Consult International, Shina Philips, this year’s conference is aimed at highlighting the critical role of community-based policing in driving both security and economic growth. The event will provide a platform for senior police officers to evaluate the Force’s internal security strategies and explore innovative methods to enhance Nigeria’s security framework.
He said President Tinubu’s administration has made significant appointments to Nigeria’s security agencies, aiming to ensure national security and efficient administration across the country.
“The conference is expected to build on these efforts, fostering collaboration and innovation among security stakeholders,” he said.
