Three children d!e in Jigawa building collapse

Three family members aged 12 to 13 have died following the collapse of a building in Birnin Kudu Local Government Area of Jigawa State.  The spokesperson of the command, DSP Lawan Shiisu Adam, who confirmed the incident in a statement said four other victims sustained injuries and are responding to treatment in a hospital.   Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at about 0005hrs, one Ahmad Isah 'm' of Kofar Bai Quarters, Birnin Kudu LGA reported at Brinin Kudu Division that, on 09/09/2024 at about 2350hrs, a room in his residential house was collapsed, the statement read. "On receipt of the tragic report, a team of policemen were raced to the scene. "The policemen in conjunction with good Samaritan launched a rescue operation and were able to evacuate seven persons. "The victims were quickly rushed to the Birnin Kudu General Hospital for medical attention. "Upon their arrival, the attending physician confirmed that three (3) of the seven (7) victims had passed away. "The deceased are; (1) Khalifa Ahmad 'm' age 13yrs, (2) Tijjani Ahmad 'm' age 12yrs, (3) Rabiu Ahmad 'm' age 12yrs all of the same address. "The corpses were photographed and handed over to the family for burial according to the Islamic custom. While the other four (4) victims have been admitted and responded to treatment.   The post Three children d!e in Jigawa building collapse appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
