Temilade Openiyi, Grammy-winning Nigerian singer widely known as ‘Tems’ is set to grace the stage at the 2025 Roots Picnic, scheduled for May 31 to June 1 at The Mann in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia.
She will perform alongside an impressive lineup of global music stars, including D’Angelo, Lenny Kravitz, and Meek Mill, who is making his festival debut.
This year’s festival holds special significance as it marks the 30th anniversary of The Roots’ iconic album, Do You Want More?!!!??!. Since its launch in 2007, the Roots Picnic has become a celebrated cultural event, bringing together legendary and contemporary artists from various genres.
The 2024 edition featured performances from André 3000, Gunna, Jill Scott, and Babyface, among others. This year, in addition to Tems, the lineup includes GloRilla, Miguel, Kaytranada, Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Adam Blackstone, and the Backyard Band.
