American televangelist Benny Hinn and his wife, Suzanne Hinn, have officially finalised their divorce for the second time after 46 years of marriage.
According to documents from the Hillsborough County Court in Florida, cited by the Trinity Foundation, the couple’s marriage was dissolved in an uncontested proceeding on November 19. Suzanne Hinn filed for divorce in mid-2024, during a period when the pair were living separately more than 60 miles apart.
Suzanne’s attorney, Matthew Wilson, declined to comment on the case. Benny Hinn’s attorney, Damon Chase, said the faith-healer was not the party who requested the divorce but confirmed the process was amicable. Chase added that despite the separation, the two remain close and maintain what he described as a “deep, soulmate type of love.”
He said the divorce was based on personal reasons that were not disclosed and noted that the former couple still prays together and remains active in Christian ministry.
This marks the second time the Hinns have ended their marriage. Suzanne first filed for divorce in 2010 after 30 years together. The couple, who married in 1979 and share four children, reconciled in 2012 and remarried in 2013.
Their first divorce drew attention when the National Enquirer published photos of Benny Hinn with televangelist Paula White. Hinn denied having an affair, saying the two only shared a friendship and had travelled together for ministry-related reasons.
Benny Hinn later said their initial divorce was influenced by Suzanne’s long-term dependence on prescription medication, which he said affected her behaviour.
The latest court filings remain sealed from public access.
