Sporting Lagos deserved victory over Enyimba – Odibo

Godwin Odibo believed that Sporting Lagos deserved the victory over Enyimba.

Sporting Lagos defeated Enyimba 2-0 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan on Sunday.

The victory gave Sporting Lagos a huge boost in their relegation fight.

Odibo recorded a goal and assist in the game.

“We did our best and the victory was a deserving one for the players and the supporters.

“The encouragement from the supporters and the coach was a massive one for the team,” he stated to the club’s media.

Sporting Lagos currently occupy 17th position on the table with 46 points.

Abdullahi Biffo’s side will square up against Shooting Stars in their final game of the season.
