A Tomas Soucek red card took all the drama away from the London Stadium, as Tottenham thrashed West Ham 3-0 on Saturday.
Having beaten Nottingham Forest on the road before the international break, West Ham had been hoping to continue building momentum. But they rarely troubled Spurs, even before Tomás Soucek was sent off in the second half, and are now seven without a win at London Stadium in the league.
After a competitive and even first half, Spurs took charge when Pape Mata Sarr headed home from a corner, the fifth goal Potter’s side have conceded from such scenarios this season.

Victory also ensured Thomas Frank became just the third Spurs manager to win his first two away top-flight matches in charge of the club after Ossie Ardiles in 1993-94 and Tim Sherwood in 2013-14.
