Spyro, the Nigerian singer, has alleged that someone is threatening to release his mekwe tape.
In a series of Instagram posts on Tuesday, the 27-year-old music star revealed that he recently confronted the person who had wronged him.
Although Spyro did not mention names, he insinuated that the individual is a religious leader.
According to him, the person threatened to release his mekwe tape and also reveal the identity of someone he allegedly impregnated.
The ‘Who’s Your Guy’ hitmaker, however, stated that he is not intimidated by the threat.
“Don’t be deceived … the biggest scams and lairs are the ones at the top of religious leaders they perpetrate evil and quote holy books to support their wrongs and then the emotional game and then threats. The deception is on another level,” he wrote.
“I once called someone out for wronging me, next day, the person started confessing scriptures and, in the same vein sending threatening messages about releasing s__x tapes and how they have a girl claiming she is pregnant for me. I sent a message back to tell them to release the tapes. I can’t wait to watch the tapes @ Jesus Boy tape g GOLD. Till date, dem never release am o. Rubbish.”
Spyro also appreciated people checking up on him but emphasized that nothing has been done to address the issue.
“In the same vein, people calling me left, right and center to let it go and I sincerely appreciate every single one of them as they are only after my well being but then nothing done till date about it. This is how evil continues to thrive because we keep quiet and the result is the Nigeria we have today,” he added.
