According to Guardian Nigeria, the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Professor Ahmad Ladan Ala, approved the suspension of the affected principals and set up a five-member investigative committee to examine the allegations.

The panel is chaired by Professor Mustapha Namakka Tukur and includes representatives from the State Arabic and Islamic Education Board (AIEB), the Ministry’s Quality Assurance Department, the Teachers’ Service Board (TSB), and the Planning Department.
