Nollywood actor Afeez Owo has shared insights into his marriage with actress Mide Martins, addressing rumors about their alleged separation in 2016.
In an interview with Behind The List, posted on YouTube on Sunday, Afeez described the incident as the only major conflict they have ever experienced in their marriage, noting that they were fortunate to reconcile.
He admitted that he did not manage the situation well and that social media amplified the problem, which could have been handled privately.

“There was a time rumours spread that my wife and I had separated. In truth, that was the first and only serious fight we’ve ever had in our marriage. Thankfully, we reconciled and came back together.
“I admit I didn’t handle it well. I scattered things, and at some point, I even thought, Is this how it’s going to end? Social media made it worse because it was something we should have resolved privately. Out of anger, I left and stayed in a hotel for two days, while she went online saying I had abandoned her and the kids. But by God’s grace, we overcame it,” he said.
