Singer Qdot Robbed At Lagos Residence


Nigerian singer Qudus Fakoya Olatunji, popularly known as Qdot, was reportedly robbed at gunpoint in his Lagos home on Sunday.

Reports indicate the incident happened around 2:30 a.m., when armed intruders forced their way into his residence.

The attackers reportedly made away with phones, laptops, and also carried out unauthorized transfers from his bank accounts. They were further said to have gained control of his social media pages.

Talent manager Dami Adenuga confirmed the incident in a post on X, cautioning the public to ignore any unusual messages or monetary requests coming from the artiste’s accounts.

He wrote, “Nigerian singer Qdot was attacked and robbed at gunpoint in his home around 2:30 a.m. today. The armed robbers carted away his phones, laptops, and transferred all funds from his accounts.

“They also gained access to his social media accounts. The public is hereby urged to disregard any suspicious messages, posts, or financial requests coming from Qdot’s accounts at this time.”

At the time of reporting, the Lagos State Police Command had not released an official statement regarding the incident.

Qdot, 35, has built his reputation on a unique mix of Fuji and Afrobeats, with hit songs including Alomo Meta, Gbese, and Jegele.

Over time, he has cultivated a loyal fan base with his street-driven style, cementing his place as one of the standout voices in Nigeria’s modern music landscape.
