A disturbing video has surfaced online showing a female corps member, identified as Jennifer Edema Elohor, being stripped and beaten by armed vigilantes in Anambra State.
The attackers, believed to be operatives of Operation Udo Ga-Achi, popularly called the Agunechemba Vigilante Group, reportedly stormed a lodge housing National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members on July 23, 2025.
In the viral clip shared by the Haven 360 Foundation on Monday, Elohor was seen bleeding and left unclothed as armed men subjected her and other corps members to violence and humiliation.
According to the foundation, the vigilantes accused the corps members of being internet fraudsters, despite the victims presenting their NYSC identification cards.
“The assault was particularly egregious in the case of Jennifer Edema Elohor, who was beaten, stripped naked, and left exposed and covered in blood,” the foundation stated.
It further condemned the attack, describing it as a grave violation of human rights and dignity.
The organisation also revealed that the corps members were subjected to “horrible, sexually degrading threats and unspeakable humiliation”at the hands of the vigilante operatives.
The incident has sparked outrage on social media.
