Adams, who joined the Spanish side last week, made his debut for Sevilla in their goalless draw against CD Leganes this past weekend. However, the club revealed that the 22-year-old picked up an injury during a training session on Thursday.
Sevilla’s medical statement indicated that both Adams and teammate Sambi Lokonga sustained right thigh injuries during the session.
The Nigerian attacker could face a lengthy recovery, with reports suggesting he may be out for anywhere between 4 and 12 months.
