Serie A: Udinese can’t dwell too much on Bologna defeat – Okoye

Maduka Okoye has said that Udinese must learn from their mistakes following the disappointing home loss to Bologna, DAILY POST reports.

Udinese were beaten 3-0 by the visitors in the Serie A clash at the Dacia Arena on Saturday.

Okoye saved Riccardo Orsolini’s penalty four minutes before half-time.

Bologna, however, dominated the second half, scoring through Tommaso Pobega (brace) and Federico Bernardeschi.

The Nigeria international stressed the importance of the Zebras shifting their focus to their next game.

“Mistakes are part of the game, but we need to reduce them. It’s important to learn from these mistakes,” Okoye told the club’s official website.

“In football, the most important thing is the result, but we also want to play well. We need to stay united and focus on the next match.”
