Senator Ned Nwoko has refuted claims of domestic violence by his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, following a viral video in which she appeared distressed and alleged abuse in their marriage.

In a statement on his verified X account, Nwoko attributed their marital issues to Daniels’ alleged drug and alcohol struggles, urging her to continue rehabilitation.

He also accused her of being violent in his absence, physically attacking three staff members, damaging property, and threatening a nurse who revealed her alleged drug use. Nwoko shared a video showing vandalised property at his residence.

The dispute comes after a viral clip of Daniels stating: “In Ned Nwoko’s house I am nothing, but in my own house I am a Queen. Not again, I can’t stand the violence, it’s too much.” Her brother also claimed she was physically assaulted and vowed to defend her. Daniels has not publicly responded to Nwoko’s recent statements.
