France World Cup winner Bixente Lizarazu believes Kingsley Coman has taken the wrong step to leave Bayern Munich for the Saudi League.
Speaking to Telefoot, Lizarazu, who also played for Bayern, declared, “No one will be able to convince me that going to Saudi Arabia is a sporting choice.
“It’s not a league that helps you grow. Coman could have played in a major European league, in England for example. It’s not a choice that pushes you to the top.”

Lizarazu added: “(Al-Ittihad’s N’Golo) Kanté was recalled to the national team anyway, but there’s a sort of sporting retreat here, considering that Coman is still young.”
In his recent statements, Kingsley Coman expressed deep respect and admiration for Cristiano Ronaldo.
He said, “Ah, he still has the same extraordinary finishing, that’s for sure. It’s truly an honor to play with him, and I’ll be able to tell my children that I played with Cristiano Ronaldo.”
