Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Lagos State Governor, has said that his administration is committed to supporting local companies by fostering a business-friendly environment in the State.
The Governor who was represented by Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, his Deputy said this on Thursday while speaking at the 15th Anniversary and Office Launch of Greenpeg Nigeria Limited held at Ikeja.
He said that such will involve implementing policies that facilitate ease of doing business, enhancing infrastructure, and promoting a diverse and resilient economy.
“Lagos State is the epicenter of Nigeria’s commerce and a hub for business and innovation. We are committed to supporting companies like Greenpeg Nigeria Limited by fostering a business-friendly environment. While describing the event as a significant milestone for a company that has demonstrated remarkable strength, excellence, and a steadfast commitment to innovation and sustainability in Nigeria’s business landscape, Sanwo-Olu commended Greenpeg Nigeria Limited for its contributions to the development of the state and Nigeria.
He added that through job creation, nurturing local talent, and maintaining a robust commitment to professionalism, the company has been a pivotal player in driving the growth and progress of Lagos State and Nigeria as a whole.
Speaking further, the Governor highlighted that the contributions of Greenpeg Nigeria Limited aligns perfectly with his administration’s THEMES Agenda, particularly in the areas of Education and Technology and Making Lagos a 21st Century Economy, noting that by fostering skills development and bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical application.
