Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has disclosed that Bukayo Saka would love to continue his relationship with the Gunners.

The England international, who has scored six goals in 14 appearances in all competitions this campaign for Arsenal, will have his contract expire in the summer of 2027.

Speaking with Daily Mail ahead of Sunday’s London derby clash against Tottenham, Arteta stated that he’s confident Saka will continue his football with Arsenal.

‘I am very aware that he wants to continue with us. I think it’s a very healthy and powerful relationship.

‘The journey that he has had at the club, and what he has become, is something we want to maintain.

“I think that is something that is going to leave a legacy at this club and he needs to fulfil that role.’
