Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka won’t be part of the Gunners squad that will face Nottingham Forest in today’s Premier League clash.
Saka limped off during Arsenal’s 5-0 home win over Leeds, and he is gradually recovering from it.
In a chat with the club’s website, Arteta, who is yet to rule the England international out of the midweek Champions League clash against Athletic Bilbao, stated that Saka still needs time to recover.

“Bukayo is still out. He’s trying to get back as quick as possible, we need to respect that process,” Arteta told reporters ahead of Saturday’s home game against Forest.
“He’s evolving really well. Very specific work at the moment. And the moment we increase that load, let’s see how he reacts.
The Gunners lost their last league match against Liverpool but will be aiming to get back to winning ways, as they face a Forest side fresh from signing new manager Ange Postecoglou.
