Former world No. 1 Boris Becker has disclosed that Holger Rune has what it takes to end Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz’s dominance in tennis.
The 57-year-old in a chat with tennisuptodate, stated that names like Zverev, Draper, Fritz, Rude and many others would have to have much greater ambition and work hard to dethrone Alcaraz and Sinner.

However, he noted that Rune can reach the level of Spanish and Italian tennis players if he puts more efforts to his game.
“Rune has to get back on track. I need him—because he believes he can beat Djokovic. Fritz said before playing Novak, “Yes, of course he’s the favorite.” You can’t say that. If you already believe it, you’ve lost.
“Rune would never say that. He has the attitude, but he needs to back it up with the right coach, right preparation, right strategy.” he said, as quoted by tennisuptodate.
