Rooboy, Dede, Joanna Make Dramatic Return After Fake Eviction

Rooboy, Dede, and Joanna, the Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemates who were earlier evicted through the controversial red phone twist, have rejoined the house.

The trio made their return on Wednesday night after spending two days in a secret room, where their actions were broadcast to viewers, following Big Brother’s long-standing twist format.

Their eviction on Monday shocked fellow housemates after host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced their departure, with Biggie confirming it through his signature countdown.

Rooboy was instructed to leave immediately after answering the red phone, following the same fate that Dede and Joanna had encountered earlier.

However, following the Travelbeta task on Wednesday, housemates were taken aback as Rooboy, Joanna, and Dede re-entered the house one after the other.

Their comeback was met with excitement, alleviating the tension that had lingered since their earlier eviction.

Joanna vowed to stay in the house until the finale, while Rooboy made a striking impact with his dramatic entrances.

Housemate Sultana later revealed that she had anticipated their return.

The red phone twist is a surprise element in Big Brother Naija, where housemates who pick up the phone are given unexpected tasks or directives, which can sometimes lead to their eviction or other consequences.

In Season 10, Dede answered the red phone first on Monday and was tasked with choosing another housemate, selecting Joanna. Following this, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu confirmed the eviction of both housemates.

Soon after, Rooboy picked up the red phone and was likewise instructed to exit the house immediately.

The sudden departure of all three housemates shocked those remaining in the house and fueled viewers’ speculation about the authenticity of the eviction.

In previous seasons, Big Brother has used similar ‘fake evictions,’ relocating housemates to secret rooms while giving viewers a chance to watch their activities unfold.

This strategy typically stirs up drama and changes the dynamics once the housemates make their return.
