Robbers Attack Jamie, Rebekah Vardy’s Italian Villa, £80,000 Luxury Items Stolen

Jamie Vardy and his wife, Rebekah, have been left shaken after thieves reportedly broke into their Italian home on the shores of Lake Garda and escaped with high-value jewellery, cash and designer watches worth an estimated £80,000.

Local reports say the intruders forced their way in through a window before ransacking the property and taking several luxury items, including a Patek Philip watch. Police believe the break-in was carried out by an organised gang familiar with the family’s movements.

A police source told the Daily Mail: “We think the gang have been watching him and his family and timed the break-in to coincide when he was away in Rome.”

The £2 million villa sits in the historic town of Salo, a scenic part of northern Italy known for its lakeside views and its links to World War 2 leader Benito Mussolini. His great-grandson, Romana Mussolini, is currently one of Vardy’s teammates at Cremonese.

Jamie and Rebekah have been settling into life in the area since the striker’s move to Serie A newcomers Cremonese. The couple have often been spotted strolling through the town or having dinner at local restaurants as they embrace their new surroundings. Friends say they have even begun picking up the language.

A source previously told The Sun: “Jamie and Becky are already loving Italian life, and doing all they can to blend in seamlessly.”

Italian police are continuing their investigation as officers review CCTV footage and track the movements of known gangs operating around Lake Garda.
