Reps hail Bago for agricultural revolution

Members of the House of Representatives have hailed the Niger State governor, Umar Bago, for revolutionalizing agriculture in the state.

The lawmakers, including the speaker, Abbas Tajudeen, commended the Niger governor for his impact in the administration of the state.

Abbas, in a statement by his Special Adviser, Media and Publicity, Musa Krishi, on the occasion of the governor’s 51st birthday, for prioritising food production at a time the country is making efforts to diversify the economy from oil.

Abbas, while describing Bago as a blessing to his people, noted that he is presently one of the best performing governors in the country.

Similarly, the member representing Lavun, Mokwa and Edati Federal Constituency of Niger state, Joshua Gana, in a statement, said Bago’s commitment to good governance has been exceptional.

Gana said “this is a moment to commend His Excellency, the Farmer Governor, for his relentless efforts in transforming Niger state to a place of envy amongst other states.
