Nollywood star, Regina Daniels, has expressed profound joy over the reconciliation of her long-estranged parents, describing their reunion as a long-awaited moment of peace for her family.
The actress, in a heartfelt Facebook post on Thursday, said her parents, who had been “sworn enemies” for years, buried their differences purely for her happiness.
Daniels wrote that the reconciliation came with no hidden motives, adding that she could not help but reflect on how far her family had come.
“Two concluded sworn enemies reuniting with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness. And I dare question God for putting me in this situation?” she said.
The actress revealed that both parents are currently in Abuja working together to secure the release of her brother, Sammy, who is reportedly being detained.
She expressed frustration over the prolonged detention, vowing to personally intervene if necessary.
“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm! Since they want me!” she wrote.
In her emotional post, Daniels also highlighted the strength and character of her parents, describing her father as a brilliant legal mind and her mother, actress Rita Daniels, as a resilient woman devoted to her children.
“My father is a lawyer. Actually one of the biggest back in the day but Nigeria happened. I’ll tell you more about my father later and my mother? She’s a powerhouse! They would do anything for their children. I love you, mom and dad! This is all I actually ever wanted,” she added.
