The 25-year-old joins PSG as a free agent following the expiration of her contract with Atletico Madrid at the end of last season. Ajibade has signed a two-year contract that will keep her at the French side until June 30, 2027.
The French club confirmed the signing on Tuesday, sharing on their official Facebook page: “Rasheedat Ajibade signs for Paris Saint-Germain until 2027. ❤️ Paris Saint-Germain is delighted to announce the arrival of Nigerian striker who has joined the club on a deal that runs until 30th June 2027. ✅”

At PSG, Ajibade will team up with fellow Super Falcons star Jennifer Echegini.
Ajibade’s journey to the top of women’s football began with FC Robo Queens in Lagos. At 17, she moved to Norway to play for Avaldsnes IL before joining Atletico Madrid Feminino in 2021.
As captain of the Super Falcons, Ajibade led Nigeria to their 10th Women’s African Cup of Nations (WAFCON) title in Morocco in July. Her outstanding performance earned her the tournament’s best player award.
Off the pitch, Ajibade has spoken openly about her rise from humble beginnings to football stardom, revealing that she once hawked bottles of olive oil and refreshment drinks at deliverance programs organized by the Mountain of Fire Miracle Ministry (MFM).
