Prince Omoruyi Davis Appointed Youth Ambassador To UAE


The National Youth Council of Nigeria has appointed Prince Omoruyi Agbagie Davis, a cultural diplomat, community leader and founder of the Edo Folklore Dance Performance, as youth Ambassador to the United Arabs Emirates with a charge to deploy his enterprising zeal and orientation to represent the interest of Nigerian youths on the global stage.

The appointment was announced by Vice President Diaspora of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Amb Collins Idahosa, noting that Amb Prince Omoruyi Agbagie Davis will play a vital role in promoting Nigerian interests and fostering connections among all Nigerian youths in the country, adding that his exceptional leadership skills and dedication to you development will help strengthen youth networking, cooperation and development among Nigerians in the United Arabs Emirates.

In his response, Ambassador Prince Omoruyi Agbagie Davis disclosed that as youth Ambassador, he would inspire and motivate young people to become active participants in sharing their interests and development.

Ambassador Prince Omoruyi Agbagie Davis, an accomplished cultural diplomat, visionary leader, and advocate for African unity based in the United Arab Emirates, is a proud son of the late Chief P.A. Omoruyi, the esteemed Okawagha of Benin Kingdom, who embodies a legacy of service, cultural preservation, and leadership that transcends borders.

With over two decades of community engagement and cultural entrepreneurship, he has established himself as a global voice in promoting African heritage through art, dialogue, and diplomacy.

The Chief Executive Officer of Edo Folklore Dance Performance, Dubai, has used his experience to showcase the richness of African storytelling, music, and tradition to international audiences — strengthening intercultural bonds across continents.

He holds a B.Sc. degree in Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Benin. He also holds a diploma in Desktop Publishing from Pioneer Computer School in Edo State

Ambassador Davis is the Founder and President of the Edo Community Organization (ECO-UAE), a unifying platform that empowers Nigerians and Africans living in the UAE through cultural identity, mentorship, and solidarity.

He had also served as Convener of the United African Culture Community (UACC) — a pan-African coalition that champions diversity and cross-cultural cooperation, leads the South-South Geopolitical Zone of the United Nigeria Stakeholders in the UAE, promotes regional representation and national unity.

His major achievements and Contributions include organizing Edo State @30 Cultural Celebration, promoting Nigeria’s positive image in the UAE.

He is the founder of the Edo Festival Merit Awards and Empowerment Programme in Dubai.

Omoruyi Agbagie Davis as mediated and resolved multiple human trafficking cases, retrieving seized passports and helping victims secure reputable employment.

He also represented Nigeria during the UAE @50th National Day Celebrations, showcasing traditional African performance arts and he is currently Convener of the African Cultural Festival – Dubai 2025, featuring over 22 African nations in a grand display of unity and heritage.

Ambassador Davis is driven by a mission to restore dignity, strengthen unity, and celebrate African excellence in the diaspora. Through his ambassadorial engagements, he will continue to promote cultural diplomacy, social empowerment, and international collaboration.

He remains a tireless advocate for Africans worldwide, using culture as a bridge between nations and a catalyst for shared progress.
