President Tinubu appoints three new heads of agencies



President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of new heads for three federal agencies, as reported by NTA News. 

Bello Bawa Bwari from Niger State has been named Director-General of the National Biosafety Management Agency for a four-year term, effective September 18, 2025, under the National Biosafety Management Agency Act, 2015.

Aminu Junaidu from Zamfara State has been appointed Chairman and CEO of the Investment and Securities Tribunal for a five-year term, starting September 18, 2025. 

Additionally, Olayiwola Nurudeen Awakan will serve as Director-General of the Nigerian Tourism Development Corporation for a four-year term, effective September 2, 2025.

Segun Imohiosen, Director of Information and Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, stated that these appointments demonstrate President Tinubu’s commitment to enhancing Nigeria’s key sectors and institutions. 

The President encouraged the new appointees to leverage their expertise to drive progress in their agencies for the nation’s benefit.
